Patient Participation Group (PPG)

We would like your feedback and ideas to help shape our services and improve your patient experience.

To help us with this, we have set up a core face to face Patient Participation Group (PPG) to get us started and we will soon be resuming our Virtual Patient Participation Group too. So, you will be able to have your say about your GP surgery and in future more of a choice about how you can get involved with your PPG.

Our new face-to-face group is meeting more often for now, whilst we’re getting up and running, in future it will probably meet four times a year (hoping to avoid the holidays). Members of our virtual group, once started again, will be contacted via email with Patient Participation Group updates, further opportunities to help, surgery news and communications where we may ask you feedback questions or send out a short survey.

The minutes of our set up meetings are available here and below are the PGG’s initial aims:

Aim 1 – Patient Communications, includes promotion of additional Primary Care Network (PCN) patient services that are available at the surgery and overall communication improvements

Aim 2 – Relaunch Virtual Patient Participation Group

Aim 3 – Practice website review and changes

Your feedback will help us to better understand the opinions and interests of our patients and local community. We aim to gather views and experiences from a wide group of patients, young people, workers, retirees, people with long term conditions and people from non-British ethnic groups.
